  • THE BLURB:

In How Not to Make a Wish, stage manager Kira Franklin discovers a dusty brass lamp while she’s cleaning out a prop closet at her down-at-the-heels dinner theater. When she polishes the lamp, she’s astonished to discover a genie, bound to grant her wishes. The first wish is easy: Kira arranges to stage manage a production of Romeo and Juliet at the prestigious Landmark Stage, where the hunky Drew Myers plays a leading role. She soon discovers, though, that wishes and genies (not to mention true love) aren’t always what they seem!

  • THE BLURB:

In When Good Wishes Go Bad, Becca Morris thrives in her job as a dramaturg/producer — at least until her current production is derailed by threatened copyright litigation. Even worse, her boyfriend has gone on the lam, stealing her life savings and most of the theater’s funds. That’s when a brass lamp enters the picture — a brass lamp, with a wish-granting genie… Before Becca knows it, she’s juggling magic, a brilliant new play by a hot new playwright, and a battle of guerilla gardeners (yes, really!) the likes of which New York City has never seen.

  • THE BLURB:

In To Wish or Not To Wish, actress Erin Hollister’s life is falling apart — she has just lost her day-job, and her boyfriend dumped her when he thought she was pregnant. Everything changes, though, when Erin finds a magic lamp, complete with a wish-granting genie! Soon, Erin is trying to balance her role in a blockbuster musical, her obligations to her family, and her attraction to the stunning chef who runs the local neighborhood cafe. As if that weren’t enough, Erin just might be falling in love with her genie!

    MY REVIEW

Each book in this series is a standalone. They are all well written and have great story arcs. I couldn't quite get on the train for this series though. I'm more of a witch/vamp/shifter person myself, so when you throw in a genie I am kind of out of my comfort zone.

I did however like the books. The main characters in them are all amazing. The only thing that I feel would have made them a little better is some more romantic interaction. It was a nice change from the usual stuff I read though. As with the other two series I have reviewed this week I have found that I really do enjoy reading chick-lit (as long as it has a paranormal vibe :) Unfortunately this series is only available in e-book format :(

You should definately go out and give this series a shot. I did and I have to say it was well worth it!

    Happy Reading!!!

    ~K~
