Never Again by Michele Bardsley

THE BLURB:

Welcome to Nevermore, Texas, population 503, where witches and wizards live side by side with humans, and where witch Lucy Rackmore is in trouble. Ever since her former lover snuffed out her magical abilities, everyone in town is looking to settle a score with her family. And Lucy's only hope for survival may be her ex-brother-in-law-whom her sister betrayed and nearly killed.

MY REVIEW:

The town of Nevermore is in some serious trouble!!! Lucy, a run away witch, and Gray, her ex-borther in law make for a really interesting pair. The way they have to come together when both really don't want to will have you biting your nails! I am not going to put a lot of details into my review because I have a really bad habit of saying too much---and I really do not want to spoil this one for you!

However, I will say that it was a good book..definately one I couldn't put down. The characters were nice..funny and crazy at times.I have to say this book was really good! i lvoed the dynamics between the characters. At first i thought that it was missing something--i couldn't put my finger on what but definately something...then about halfway through...BAM...ther it was and I was super happy!

Definately go out and read this. if you don't want to take a chance on buying it then at least borrow it from your local library. It is definately worth the time to read!

Master Of Fire by Angela Knight Review

If your a fan of paranormals then you'll love Angela Knights Master series. The Master series is a mix of wolves, witches, elves and vampires. Lets not forget King Arthur and his round table. Giada Shepherd is a brilliant immortal witch whose job it is to protect Logan MacRoy who is King Arthur and Guinevere's son. Logan isn't looking forward to becoming immortal. He's worried that he could hurt someone and is putting it off for as long as he can. Of course having someone trying to kill you might change your mind. Its wonderful to watch Logan and Giada come together and fall in love. Its also great to see a few past characters and meet new ones.
I liked this book i give it **4 stars**

Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater Review

This book was so great, I loved it. It's similar to Twilight and all the other supernatural love stories out there. The story is based on a young girl being ripped from her tire swing by a pack of starving wolves. She was saved by one of the pack members and an immediate curiosity strikes. The wolf and the girl spend the next six years staring at each other from the comfort of a safe distance of her backyard. Soon you find out that the wolf is a werewolf, in a sense, and is named Sam. Sam and Grace, the girl, fall in love and have to deal with the awkward trying times of avoiding Sam's bodily change into a wolf.

The story is compelling and rich with detail, a must-read that you won't want to put down. I can't wait to read the other two books Linger and Forever.
**5 STARS**

Storm's Heart by Thea Harrison

August 2nd 2011 by Berkley Storm's Heart (Elder Races #2) by Thea Harrison

                                                       This book was AWESOME!!!!!!
I have to say that the dynamics between the two main characters in this 2nd book of the Elder races from Thea are great!
We find ourselves continuing through the Wyr life ....only we are following Thistle "Tricks" Periwinkle on her journey of discovery this time. She is heir to the Dark Fae Throne and has been hiding out amongst the Wyr's...with the most feared of all Dragos Cuelebre, as his PR girl. She finds herself in some pretty precarious positions  when Wyr sentinel Tiago comes to save her. Tiago is a Thunderbird..and let me tell you...he sounds like a magnificent man! He comes galloping(or rather flying) to Tricks' rescue and is a typical stubborn man...She wants him to go...He wants to stay. Sounds like the typical romance novel right/                                                                        WRONG!!!
Thea has done an excellent job of weaving the world in which the Elder races live. I was captivated from the very start. I could almost see everything in her novel right outside my window. The sex scenes are steamy...the men are dreamy...the world is a wonderful place!!!!!
You have got to give this a read!

I Give this one  5 Stars!!!!

Happy Reading!

Lord Of Shadows by Alix Rickloff

Lord of Shadows

Who is working the demon arts . . .
Was it her murdered father? Her fugitive brother? It has been seven years since Lady Sabrina Douglas cloistered herself with the Sisters of High Danu, but the questions remain. She is Other—a mixture of Fey and mortal—quietly using her powers to heal. That is, until she saves a half-drowned man, his soldier’s body a roadmap of scars, his fathomless eyes filled with heartbreaking loneliness. The inexplicable connection overwhelms her defenses, touching her heart, mind . . . and body.
. . . and to what end?
A man with no memory, Daigh MacLir seeks his past even as unknown threats fill him with monstrous rage and inhuman abilities. But as a desperate game of hunter and hunted is played out from ballrooms to bedrooms, what Daigh discovers is more chilling than anyone could possibly imagine. Defying death was only the first step in the task he has been given, and Sabrina is his last hope. But dare he risk involving her? Daigh has been summoned to find an ancient king, and even the powers of love may not be enough to win the battle against the powers of darkness.

I don't know...i have a hard time with books that are set so far back in time. i'm not sure if it's because of the wording or just that i can't ever seem to immerse myself in the world since it is past not future. maybe i'm closed minded who knows... Unfortunately since I couldn't seem to get into this book my review is rather short.....:(
Sabrina is a dynamic character. She is full of inner turmoil and doubt. She wants to get over her past but she just can't seem to do it. Enter Daigh(not his real name though)....He is just as confused as Sabrina and they set off on their own journey of discovery. All in All this book was okay but it just didnt capture my imagination like most books do. if you like paranormal romance that is set in the 1800s then this is the book for you.  Still though, the author told the story well and it was very detailed

well my bestie kriss posted her first post woo hoo!! so anyway i just wanted to post what i'm currently reading and that is "Shiver" by Maggie Stiefvater. ok just to be honest here i'm a total sucker for young adult books i think that's what i steer toward more. i just can't help it considering my age...lol :) so that's what i thought was cool for me and kriss to do this blog because like she said "we've read more books to fill a library". so anybody out there who wants to chat with us or whatever since we're newbies everybody is welcome to our world. Happy Reading!!
