Q: What is your biggest pet peeve when it comes to books? Maybe you don’t like love triangles or thin plots? Tell us about it!
I think the only two things that really bothers me is when the story is so slow and dragging on and on, I definately get so bored with that and stop reading. And when it's a series and the last few books are really disappointing, it's like the author is just writing the books just to get books out there for the series, and then they keep making more books for that series and you hope it's gonna make up for the last few but doesn't, that's another pet peeve. But other than that I love "love triangles", nothing like two guys fighting over you...lol :)

I totally agree Candice...I love to read but it is super hard to finish a book when it really fizzles out :)
ReplyDeleteOh I hate that, the dragging, I just feel like I'm waistinf my time... ugh, those books easily get closed. ;)

Can definitely agree there! Know of a series or two that does that. I still stick with it because I really want to see how it ends!

I completely agree, Candice. You make a very good point about the authors cranking out books just to keep writing. The reader is not stupid.

I totally agree about books that just drag on. Those totally make me crazy!
ReplyDeleteThanks for hopping by!
I totally agree with slow books! You should just delete the part if there really isn't much significance to it, and great post! Thanks for following me, I'm following you back!
ReplyDeleteI agree. PLots that drag make me really bored!

Hello!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog! Sorry, but I'm a few days late!
Yup, that is one of the things I listed. Too much detail or plot lines that run in circles just drive me crazy! lol
Happy Blog Hop!
